Alizée & Timothée

Architects graduated from the Catholic University of Louvain (Saint-Luc Tournai, Belgium), our field of action extends from Lille to Brussels. We develop projects at various scales and with diverse challenges: interior design, house extensions, enlargements, vertical additions, and new-build projects.
Our practice is primarily focused on the renovation of individual and collective housing for private clients, as well as the design of professional spaces, in architecture and interior design. We approach each project from what already exists, through an in-situ methodology: every intervention is conceived in close connection with its context, its history, and its uses.
We place particular importance on social and spatial issues, taking into account urban composition and the constant evolution of lifestyles and users’ expectations.
For each new project, we first propose an ecological framework to the client. Together, we explore the many existing alternatives and study how they can be integrated into the project’s design process: the use of bio-based or low-carbon materials, an assessment of potential material reuse within the project, and the limitation of demolition.
