Landscape design of a family garden

- Objective: To blur the boundaries of the garden by integrating the surrounding fields
Ce projet d’aménagement paysager intègre les champs avoisinants au jardin afin d’agrandir l’espace et d’en effacer les limites. L'inspiration naturaliste s'est imposée, mêlant une grande variété de graminées et de vivaces nécessitant peu d'entretien, tout en offrant une structure dynamique tout au long de l'année.
Le jardin s'articule autour de différents espaces, chacun ayant sa propre atmosphère et fonction, à l'image des pièces d'une maison :
- Un coin repas, idéal pour les déjeuners ensoleillés : cet espace est pensé comme une salle à manger extérieure, où le mobilier s'intègre harmonieusement dans un écrin de verdure.
- Une zone détente/lecture : cette zone est propice à la relaxation et à la contemplation. Des piquets de bois y ont été judicieusement placés pour délimiter l'espace, apportant une touche de dynamisme et de verticalité.
- Un petit potager : pensé pour la découverte et le partage en famille.
- Un espace de jeux pour enfants : dissimulé dans les massifs, il encourage l'imagination et l'exploration de manière ludique.
This landscape design project integrates the surrounding fields into the garden in order to expand the space and blur its boundaries. The naturalistic inspiration prevailed, combining a wide variety of low-maintenance grasses and perennials, while providing a dynamic structure throughout the year.
The garden is organised around different areas, each with its own atmosphere and function, like rooms in a house:
- A dining area, ideal for sunny lunches: this space is designed like an outdoor dining room, where furniture blends harmoniously into a green setting.
- A relaxation/reading area: this zone is dedicated to relaxation and contemplation. Wooden stakes have been thoughtfully placed to define the space, adding a sense of rhythm and verticality.
- A small vegetable garden: designed for discovery and family sharing.
- A children’s play area: hidden within the planting beds, it encourages imagination and playful exploration.
