Landscaping of a penthouse terrace
- Dimensions: 32m²
- Objectives: Conceal opposite view, automatic watering, resistant vegetation
The clients wanted to protect themselves from future overlooking from a hotel under construction, while maintaining a bright and open space “without feeling enclosed”. The emphasis was therefore placed on the light and natural feel of the project, breaking straight lines and favouring country-style plants.
The plants were selected by the landscape designer for their resistance to the harsh weather conditions imposed by the project's location. A mix of evergreen plants, grasses and perennials ensures a rotation of blooms and foliage for a terrace that looks beautiful all year round.
Finally — as the clients are regularly away — an automatic irrigation system ensures the space is relatively self-sufficient.
